Cheaney Footwear

Starting point.

Joseph Cheaney established this luxury British footwear brand in 1886. And in 1896, with his brother, Arthur, they moved to the Northampton site, which they still occupy to this day. Our brief was to capture the new season collection, whilst also moving the brand forward and giving it a more contemporary feel, without alienating their current customers.

Taking the brand further.

We wanted to give the campaign a true British feel, and also make sure each product was showcased perfectly. With that in mind, we headed to the coastal town of Llanbedrog in N.Wales and used one of the many beautiful beaches in the area as our backdrop.

We married powerful landscape photography with lifestyle and still life photography to create a campaign which would stand the test of time.

To give the campaign that quintessentially British appearance and atmosphere, we teamed up with likeminded brands for the outerwear, knitwear, shirting and trousers.

The campaign is currently being rolled out globally across digital and print.
