Sainsbury’s tell myth about Santa

Sainsbury’s has unveiled its Christmas advert which harks back to its roots in 1869 as it rounds off its anniversary celebrations.
And in the retailer’s 150th year, the advert tells the tale of how Father Christmas could have come about. The advert tells the story of a young chimney sweep, Nicolas, who is in awe of the brand new J Sainsbury store in Victorian London’s Drury Lane.

BBC “His Dark Materials”

Created by Matt Rees, James Fairfield and Hannah White of BBC Creative, the billboard shows the series’ protagonist Lyra standing in front of an armoured bear who emits eerie clouds of air to simulate breathing.

Facebook rebrands as FACEBOOK

Facebook has launched a new branding for its subsidiary companies, which comprises an all-capital typeface that changes colour depending on the service offered. The rebrand will be used on the services it owns – such as image-sharing app Instagram and messaging service WhatsApp, while the lowercase, blue lettering will be used for its social networking app, which was established 15 years ago.

Prada team up with Adidas

German sportswear manufacturer Adidas and Italian fashion house Prada are partnering to produce limited edition footwear, including sailing shoes under Prada’s Luna Rossa label.

The deal extends Prada’s involvement in sailing – the company sponsors the Prada Luna Rossa sailing team, which is fully owned by its chief executive Patrizio Bertelli, and has a title sponsorship deal with the America’s Cup competition.
